A.Ni.S. was established in 1996 by awaken and sensitized citizen who gathered on an open platform in wake of unnatural deaths of few educated married girls from respectable families.
With the vision, passion, commitments and dedication A.Ni.S. achieved several milestone in the betterment of the society which has given new life to several women and children. With support and encouragement of Surat police, judges of district and family courts A.NI.S has taken a giant step towards humanity.
Our Vision & Mission
- To spread awareness in the society regarding the issues faced by the women in today’s time at home and workplace, i.e. Molestation, Sexual Abuse, Rape, Dowry, Domestic violence etc.
- A.Ni.S focuses towards providing guidance, support and spreading awareness in the society about the issues faced by women and children viz, molestation, sexual abuse, dowry, domestic violation, etc. with the aim to minimize the number of unnatural deaths.
- A.Ni.S is also pulling efforts towards making changes in the old laws and procedures and initiate efforts to bring awareness in the society about its responsibilities.
Our Objective
- To organize women into self help groups and develop their leadership qualities to facilitate them to make decisions at personal and social levels.
- To improve health status of communities through health education, environmental cleanliness, and increasing access to primary health and child care centers in remote areas.
- To provide voluntary and essentially confidential care and support to the depressed & one with suicidal tendency.
- To promote gender equality.
